Setting the table: The case for inclusion in the world language classroom
Discussions of inclusive teaching practice have often overlooked or outright ignored world languages. While many outside the profession believe that world language study is ‘best-suited’ for the ‘academic elite,’ research shows that there is no cognitive barrier to multilingualism. During this keynote and two follow-up workshops, explore inclusive approaches that provide necessary accommodations and support students with diverse learning needs. Learn how these approaches reflect best practices in world language teaching and become a more informed, effective, and thoughtfully- inclusive educator!

More than 225 sessions are planned! Sessions last 60 minutes and are scheduled on Friday and Saturday. Admission to all sessions is included in your registration fee.
