Central States Conference on the Teaching of Foreign Languages
In her ten short years as a teacher, Jill Woerner has already accomplished many of the feats of a veteran teacher— department chair, Spanish Club advisor, exchange student liaison, trip chaperone, and community volunteer.
Jill began teaching Spanish at Lawrence Central H.S. in Indiana in 2002 and has bee Spanish/World Language teacher at Pendelton Heights High/Middle School since 2077. She earned her B.Ed. in Special Education from Purdue and her M.Ed. in Educational Leadership in May 2011 from Anderson University. Jill has numerous outreach and volunteer achievements. She has been a student teacher mentor, a grant reviewer, and has been awarded the Teacher of the Year from the Indiana Chapter of NNELL and from IFLTA (2010.).
Along with school and state involvement, Jill has participated in CSCTFL as a Board member, assistant local arrangements chair, program chair and presenter. Her other memberships include ACTFL, IAATSP (Executive Board Member), IFLTA and IN-NNELL, and the Indiana Associated of the Gifted (IAG).
